Family Folk Dance - 3rd Friday


Are you part of a family? Do you ever dance together in your kitchen when you hear good music on the radio?


Family Folkdance Night



for families of all kinds


Join us on the 3rd Friday of every month! We'll learn simple dances from around the world, hear beautiful music, eat tasty snacks, and enjoy the company of dancing friends of all ages. Bring your kids (babies welcome too), parents, grandparents, adopted aunties, etc. Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes festive or casual, it's up to you. No prior dance experience necessary.

Day: Ever3rd Friday night Time: 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Place: Lincoln Park Presbyterian Church: 31st Ave. at Clement; enter on 31st Ave. side

Suggested Donation: Sliding scale $5-10 per family
Church is near the 1 and 38 bus lines

Changs International Folk Dancers is the longest continuously operating folkdance club in the United States. The club meets the 1st four Fridays of each month.

Hi- I'm an SF mom who lives in the sunset and just found your group. I'd love to come! But is there a family dance this Fri, since it's the day after thanksgiving? Thanks, Sylvia

Sylvia - It would be great for you to join us! Unfortunately, we just had our family night last Friday because of the Thanksgiving holiday.

The next family night will be December 18.
